Weekly Recap:
This week was a short work-week, and neither the House nor the Senate was in Harrisburg for session, nor were there any committee hearings. There are still rumblings of a possible stop-gap budget to fund human service agencies and schools that are quickly running low on funds. However, there are no firm reports of when that might happen.

Meanwhile, some of the state legislature is running low on funds, and the House Democratic Caucus borrowed $1.9 million from the State Treasury in the event they can’t make payroll.

A Look Ahead:
The Senate will return to Harrisburg on Wednesday, September 16 for three days of voting session. There are no committee voting meetings scheduled as of yet. As if now, the House plans to return to Harrisburg for session on Monday, September 21.
