Just in time for his inauguration today, Governor-elect Tom Wolf announced his selection for additional positions in his administration. Wolf announced that current Chief Inspector for the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General Grayling Williams has been appointed to serve as his Inspector General.  Williams brings over 30 years of experience in law enforcement to his new post.

Wolf also revealed his cabinet selections in the health and human services arena. Teresa Osborne has been nominated to serve as Secretary of Aging. Osborne currently serves as the Executive Director of the Luzerne/Wyoming Counties Area Agency on Aging. Karen Murphy, an expert in Medicare and Medicaid, has been nominated to the post of Secretary of Health. Ted Dallas, current secretary of Human Services for the State of Maryland, has been asked to oversee the Department of Human Services. Dallas also served in various capacities in the Rendell administration. Gary Tennis, who currently serves as the Secretary of Drug and Alcohol Programs, has been asked to remain in that post; Tennis has served as secretary since the department’s inception 2012. Finally, pediatrician Dr. Rachel Levine has been asked to join the team as Physician General.

Lancaster School District Superintendent Pedro Rivera has been nominated to oversee the Department of Education in the new administration. And the Department of Labor and Industry will be run by former State Representative Kathy Manderino. Manderino represented parts of Montgomery and Philadelphia Counties from 1993 through 2010.
