Brian J. Clark, energy shareholder in Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney’s Harrisburg office, was recently re-appointed to the Pennsylvania Environmental Hearing Board Rules Committee by Senate President Pro Tempore Joe Scarnati.
The Rules Committee is a statutorily-created committee under the Environmental Hearing Board Act of 1988. The Committee oversees the development of all rules of procedures before the Environmental Hearing Board (EHB), which is comprised of five administrative law judges hearing appeals from any decision of the Department of Environmental Protection. The Committee makes recommendations to the EHB judges and meets quarterly with all the judges regularly attending.
Clark has served on the Rules Committee since its inception 25 years ago. With fellow shareholder Howard J. Wein also serving on the Committee, Buchanan is the only law firm with two attorneys on the nine-member committee.
